Job description

InnuScience UK is a supplier of sustainable cleaning solutions across various sectors including hospitality, catering and FM backed by a global organisation with over 30 years of investment in R&D and sustainable product development. After recently restructuring, we are in an exciting growth phase of our business and this role offers a great opportunity to learn and grow and to take on responsibility for the region.

Our company is in need of a proactive, self-motivated and experienced Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate loves working with start-ups, is able to face all challenges head-on, and has an unwavering commitment to the success of his or her team. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for the full sales cycle including managing existing key accounts providing the necessary sales support as well as playing an active role in growing the business across the region. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently/remotely with the ability to manage their own time and deliverables whilst collaborating with the team to deliver on sales targets.

The role/Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new markets and customers to generate new leads to deliver annual growth sales targets within the region
  • Manage key accounts whilst developing relationships with customers to drive business retention, optimisation and increase profitability
  • Customer/Distributor demonstrations, training and presentations to help discover and understand our products and solutions
  • Providing ongoing sales support for distributors, customer groups and end-user customers and ensuring that all customer requirements are met/expectations are exceeded.
  • Growing business opportunities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events within the region.
  • Develop and maintain competitor and market knowledge to drive entry of InnuScience solutions into new sectors
  • The role will require travel across the region (as and when needed) with potential overnight travel/stays

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven track record of success in a B2B sales environment with the ability to meet sales KPIs and targets
  • Self-starter who can use initiative to drive sales growth
  • A strong knowledge of the local market
  • Excellent communication verbal & written skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to grow relationships
  • Skilled at building an initial rapport & securing new business appointments
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver on sales/revenue targets
  • Be able to confidently deliver sales and training presentations to various group sizes
  • Comfortable working with sales-related software including CRM, sales reporting tools, Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Experience in the hospitality, catering and FM sector preferred with known networks and contacts
